Using a single skein of sock yarn, Spring Leaf is a long crescent scarf/shawlette with a lace body, a decorative edging and spine, and a leaf-and-fan border which works well with self-striping or variegated yarns.

Difficulty: easy-moderate. You will need to know how to make various increases and decreases, and a tab cast-on.

Gauge: 16 stitches/22 rows per 10cm gives a finished scarf of approx 150cm tip-to-tip. You can make a bigger scarf by adjusting needle size or using a thicker yarn.

Materials: 1 skein Noro Kureyon Sock or other sock/laceweight yarn.
