Spring Light Lace Mesh Cowl
Spring Light Lace Mesh Cowl or Snood
Beginning lace project. Just a single round of 3 sts to memorize!
Worked bottom up, in the round.
Ribbing intro and exit rounds frame the pretty lace mesh.
No blocking necessary.
Stitch pattern looks nice tighter or more open.
Easily worked longer or shorter.

19 sts in K2, P2 ribbing = 4”(10cm)
Measurements
Sample 17” (43 cm) around at ribbing by 15” (38 cm)tall over all.
The lace mesh is very stretchy and will expand length and/or width-wise.
I had just the one ball of this lovely Ty Dy cotton and wanted to do something special with it that would accentuate and not obscure the gorgeous mirrored color striping, but still have some patterning more than simple K n P and this was what I came up with. * Note: If you use the Ty Dy and knit longer/shorter than the 15 +/- inches you get with one ball it will not mirror the colors as shown.
