A simple but effective pattern for a Spring Mandala. Each round has a different stitch and a different colour so it’s an interesting make. All the stitches featured are explained in detail in the pattern notes. Pattern in US terminology.

It is a versatile pattern in so far as it can be crocheted using a #4 cotton yarn (Paintbox Yarns Cotton Aran) (65g in total) and a 4.0mm/G hook or a superfine weight yarn (Scheepjes Catona) (40g in total) and a 3.5mm/E hook. It’s diameter using the former is approximately 35cm and using the latter, 28cm.

It can lay flat as table decor or mounted in a hoop as a wall hanging.
