Spring Poncho
This is a poncho, crocheted from the top to bottom.
Basic instructions, not stitch by stitch.
Requires one roll of Scheepjes Whirl. I didn’t use the entire roll.
I used a 3.5mm hook.
NOTE:
I did not plan to offer this as a pattern or I would’ve written it as I was designing and crocheting it.. and it would be written better. The truth is that I just needed a light, spring poncho so I grabbed my yarn and hook, sat down and whipped one up in the next five days.
After showing a photo of it in a few crochet groups, many requested the pattern. I did my best to remember what I had done and write it down, by looking at my finished work! This is not how I normally write a pattern, but this one is so “involved” that I decided to write it in a simple manner in order to oblige the requests of those people.
The last photo is the remaining yarn on the roll after I was finished.
You can actually crochet it to look however you would like. Put as many bobbles as you like on that particular round or don’t use any at all, the choice will be yours.
Have fun with this pattern!
Apologies to any beginners, this is for more advanced crocheters, due to the (very) basic nature of the instructions in this free pattern.
