Perfect for spring days, this triangular shawl is just enough to keep the chill off.

It is a simple knit using mostly garter stitch, with eyelet rows worked in a complimentary colour. For those of you who do not like purling, there are only 10 purl rows… in the whole shawl!

Knit using just one skein of fingering weight yarn and two 10g minis, this pattern is perfect for one of those treasured skeins you have in your stash. I wanted to make a lightweight shawl, but you could keep knitting to make the shawl larger if you had more yarn.

You could also knit the eyelet stripes in different coloured leftovers, instead of just the one colour as in the photo.

Finished Measurements:
Wingspan 52 inches & Depth 21 inches after blocking

Gauge:
20 sts x 28 rows per 4 inches in garter stitch using 4 mm (US6) needle blocked (while gauge is not vital in this pattern it will alter the amount of yarn needed.)

Needles:
4mm (US 6) long circular needle (or size needed to get gauge).

Yarn:
100 g (425m/464yds) fingering weight yarn
Yarn used in sample Beehives Yarns Audrey (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) Colour: Ice Palace (I only had 7g left, so if your gauge is different, beware!)
2 x 10g (42m/46yds) contrast colours (One for the eyelet stripes and one for the i-cord bind off) Yarn Used: Unknown leftovers from stash!
