Spring Socks
Spring Socks
Spring Socks are worked from the top down in the round using dpns. Spring Socks are worked in pattern all over the shaft, down the instep and as a special detail also down the heel. The heel is worked as a wedge heel and the sole of the sock is worked in stockinette stitch. Try the sock on before working the decreases for the toe. Spring Socks are worked in a fine wavy lace pattern that gives the socks a nice wavy edge at the beginning of the shaft.
Sizes
EU shoe size: 37 (38) 39 (40) 41
UK shoe size: 4.5 (5.5) 6.5 (7.5) 8.5
US shoe size: 6.5 (7.5) 8.5 (9.5) 10.5
Size Guide
Spring Socks are available in sizes 37 - 41. The stitch count in the sock circumference is the same, but the length is adjusted to fit the size. Sizes below 37 and above 41 are not included, as the pattern repeat does not allow it. You can play around with changing the stitch count if you want a narrower or wider size. Always try the sock before knitting the toe.
