This is a pattern for a textured crochet afghan made with aran weight yarn and size H (5 mm) hook.

This is a small size blanket (approximately 31 by 27 inches), which took about 900 yards of yarn. However, the pattern can be adjusted to any size you wish (the multiple for the stitch is included in the pattern).

The skill level is intermediate. In addition to basic stitches, front post double crochet and back post double crochet are used here.
