Springtime Cherry Blossoms
by Dawn Zurell
This cherry blossom pattern is part of a display at fibre space™ this spring (2019) in Alexandria, VA. They take me about 15 minutes each, to make.
I used a US D (3.25 mm) crochet hook, and small amounts of DK weight yarn. I used white, and 3 colors of pink. I also used yellow embroidery floss for the stamen.
Gauge is not important for this pattern. My flowers measured about 2 1/4” in diameter.
This pattern uses a magic ring to start the flower.
Special Thanks to fibre space™ in Alexandria, VA for being a great place to take my photos, and the best place to buy my yarn.
