Springtime Daffodils
Spring is just around the corner so what a great time to make yourself a bunch of sunny daffodils to brighten the day.
This pattern is in full written text in UK terms and without a chart.
It is suitable for a beginner with basic crochet stitch knowledge.
The completed daffodil head measures approx 9cm across and 28cm tall.
Tension is not critical, it will just affect the overall size of the daffodil which I am sure is not a problem for most.
I used rico essentials dk 100% cotton but any cotton yarn brand can be used. I suggest using cotton yarn to keep them right to size to actual daffodils but if you are not fussed on size, use can use any wool/yarn and just change your hook size accordingly.
You will need a ball of cotton in yellow, orange, mustard, natural & green, tapestry needle, florist wire (for stem) craft wire (for leaf) and spray starch.
This pattern is to my own design and I ask you do not resell, redistribute, copy or re-write any of the content within the pdf. Please keep the pattern for your sole knowledge but if you wish to sell the completed daffodils, I will be honoured that you wish to do so. Just be sure to send me a photo of your glorious daffodils.
Thank you for looking.
