Springtime Scrunch
Do you have some leftover yarn from that fingering weight sweater or those sport weight socks? Is your leftover yarn almost too small do anything with?
Well, good news, you can make some scrunchies! I love scrunchies, but the velvet ones we all know and love are just too heavy for spring and summer. I something lightweight but still quick and fun; so I made the Springtime Scrunch!
Scrunchies are such a fun and rewarding project. They work up in just an hour or two but look beautiful wrapped around your hair. This is a crochet pattern that uses only basic stitches. There are no crazy tricks, you don’t need special elastic, nothing. Just a crochet hook, some yarn, and a hair tie! This pattern has directions for fingering, sport, and DK weight so you can choose how light and wispy your scrunchie becomes.
Yarn Recommendation:
Fingering: The colorful pink one is fingering weight; this one is super light and flowy.
Sport: The dark red one is Classic Elite Yarn Liberty Wool-Light, it is soft and light
DK: Joy DK can be seen in the baby blue scrunchie. It is a little stiffer than the other two.

› 1/4-1/2 of a ball of fingering, sport, or DK weight yarn
