Designed with a crew neck, and top down raglan sleeve, the “Springville Tee” has seamless construction and easy style. The pattern offers nine sizes with a finished fit of 2-4” of positive ease. The sweater length hits just below the natural waist but above the hips, similar to your favorite t-shirt. The sleeves are short, but not too short so it’s a comfortable length to wear alone, or over a long sleeve top.
The yoke of the sweater is knitted in a solid color, and the body features a bold hexagonal graphic reminiscent of a honeycomb. Three contrasting colors of a sport weight yarn are used in this modern fair-isle motif.

Shown here in Plucky Knitter, Luxe Merino Light Sport in the colors: “Green Goddess”, “Pollen” and “Enchantment”.

Garment Construction
The Springville Sweater is a raglan sleeve construction knitted seamlessly from the top down.
It begins at the neck, working back and forth to create neck shaping along with raglan sleeve increases.
The piece is then joined in the round and continues with raglan sleeve and body increases.
Sleeves stitches are then placed on hold while the body is worked in the round.
Once the body is complete, the neck stitches are picked up and knit to complete the neckline finishing.
Finally, sleeves are transferred back to short circumference needles and worked in the round to the cuff.
