This simple hat is worked from the bottom up. The brim is worked in repeating rows to create a ribbed texture. After joining the two ends of the ribbed section, the hat is worked in the round.

The pattern uses less than one skein of the Caron Sprinkle Cakes to make a loose fitting hat. Adjustments can be made for a tighter fit.

You’ll need two different hook sizes (K and L) for the hat. The smaller hook is used for the ribbed brim, and the larger for the main body of the hat.
