This flirty & feminine top-down, seamless, set-in sleeve tee features the perfect amount of lace just beneath a high neckline. Blousy cap sleeves, an empire waist and a rounded hem that creates shorter length at both sides gives it extra style. This construction method is universally flattering as it closely mirrors the shape of your body; you’ll adore the fit. Pattern provides instructions for a cropped or longer tee along with customization tips to turn it into a sleeveless tank. SIZING
Sample is shown in Size 3 with approximately 1.5”/4.5 cm positive ease at the Upper Bust/Chest and Full Bust/Chest (my two measurements just happen to be the same). Choose the size that is closest to your Upper Bust for the most tailored & flattering fit across your shoulders, as long as it does not result in negative ease at the Full Bust of less than 1”/2.5 cm. This pattern includes thorough written guidance on choosing the perfect size for your unique body.

EXPERIENCE
Pattern is designed for intermediate level knitters comfortable with reading their work and tracking shaping over various garment areas. Knitters should be comfortable with provisional & cable CO, picking up stitches, short row shaping and easy lace. Pattern includes written instructions for a basic W&T and optional Tubular Hems (shown).

GAUGE NOTE
This garment is worked at two different gauges. The bust and fitted portions are worked at the primary gauge (middle needle size), where the peplum is worked at a larger, more airy gauge. It will be best for you to work swatches at both gauges so that you know you will end up with accurate chest and hip measurements, but the most critical gauge is the smaller gauge which creates the fitted section of the top. If you do swatch for the largest needle size and aren’t able to match it exactly, round up so that you are working with a needle size that gives you fewer stitches per 4”/10 cm versus the smaller gauge in order to match the look and style of this garment: fitted at the bust but airy through the waist and hip.

OPTIONS
