SIZE - approximately 23cm (9”) depending on yarn and hook choices and individual tension.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL - Intermediate due to fiddly parts. Stitches are beginner.

SKILLS - amigurumi style crochet (crochet spiral round), magic ring, dc (sc), dc (sc) increases and decreases, htr (hdc), tr (dc), tr (dc) increases, working into back loops. Basic sewing to attach parts and embroider details. Use of safety eyes.

MATERIALS NEEDED - 3.5mm (E/4) crochet hook, 2 x 20g (0.7oz) 4ply (sport) hand dyed minis or 1 colour of commercial dk (light worsted), plus 1 x 10g (0.4oz) ball of a contrasting dk (light worsted) yarn. 2 x 12mm (0.5”) green cat toy safety eyes, polyester toy stuffing, yarn needle. Stitch markers.

Sample uses Made by Penguins hand dyed yarn for the green dragon and Scheepjes Stonewashed for the red dragon. Details use Scheepjes Riverwashed 10g (0.4oz)balls.
