Sprouting Dishcloth

This pattern is based on “Bean-sprout”, a stitch pattern from Barbara G Walker’s A Second Treasury of Knitting Patterns.
I think the sprouts look their best when worked with a variegated colour on a plain background, but the reverse also gives a lovely result.
It is a great pattern for using up small scraps of left over cotton, as the B colour only uses a few meters.
My samples used between 35g and 38g in total.
