Spruce Island Sweater
Spruce Island is a drop-shoulder constructed sweater that mixes both stranded and intarsia colorwork techniques to illustrate a reflected treeline. The front and back panels are knit flat, from side to side. The garter hem and yoke with shoulder shaping and
neckline are built into the panels. The front panel neckline is slightly lower than the back panel neckline. Once panels are completed, shoulder stitches are picked up and seamed using the 3-needle bind off method. Sides are seamed to the armhole. Sleeve stitches are picked up and sleeves worked in the round to the cuff.
