Instructions are for central section only; garter or seed stitch borders should be added to prevent curling. No specific yarn or yardage is given on pattern; a general dishcloth information page on the site suggests various 100% cotton yarns available in Europe.

Usually needle sizes between US 1 1/2 (2.5 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm) will make dishcloth sizes 8”x8” and bigger. Resulting sizes depend on gauge and which border is chosen.
