This stashbuster project is easy and uses almost exclusively the half double crochet stitch. I had a lot of multi-color yarns in my stash that I wanted to use up, so I combined them with a solid red (also in my stash, but in a larger quantity) in this colorful blanket. This project would look great substituting white for the red and solid colors for the multi-color yarns. A black and white version would look great too.
