SQUADRON
Squadron is a fun mitten pattern knit sideways. The pattern starts from the outside edge of the hand, works its way to the inner edge where you add a thumb gusset and thumb. followed by the second side of the hand. The provisional cast-on edge and the thumb are grafted using ­kitchener stitch for garter stitch.

For a matching set, pair it with the Interceptor cowl and the Battalion hat.

SIZE
One size, ladies size M/L.
The sample mittens are ­approximately 20 cm ­circumference x 25.5 cm from cuff to finger tip. For smaller mittens, go down a needle size.

NEEDLES & NOTIONS

• 3.5 mm/US4/UK9.5 circular needles 60 cm/24”.
• Crochet hook, about 4-5 mm/US6-8/UK G-H.
• 2 stitch markers.
• 2 pieces of scrap thread, for provisional cast-on.
• Stitch holder/stitch wire.
• Darning needle.
