This square was inspired by the Time’s Up movement. It is square 1 of a 10 square afghan and it is knit using a slip stitch P2 K1 rib.

This be consistent with the other squares in this series, I’ve updated the pattern to include a garter stitch border. Updated pattern is now on the website. The original pattern is below.

With US 7, cast on 53 sts

R1: P2, K1,P2 across

R2: K2, Slip 1 with yarn in front, K2 across

Repeat R1-R2 until piece measures 10″ ending R2
