Late Color Changes for Slow Angles

Most crochet patterns will instruct you to change colors in the last yarnover of the final stitch in the previous color. In reversible intarsia you’ll sometimes complete the last stitch and change colors on the first yarnover of the next stitch. These late color changes keep the first color on top of the next stitch, ready to be worked with the same color on the following row, creating smoother lines. By consistently working into the stitch to the same side of the previous stitch in that color, you can create very smooth angles.
