Square C-1
This pattern is
available for free.
This is fun pattern to make and it can be a terrific stash buster.
Depending on the the weight of the yarn and hooked used you can have a very firm square to use as the foundation or component of a purse or basket, or you can make something with a bit more drape.
The gauge will depend completely on what weight yarn and size hook you use. For the square featured, I used worsted weight yarn and a 4.5 mm hook. I have also used this same pattern with a felted merino roving and a larger hook to make felted pot holders.
One day I plan to use this square as the basis for a kind of boho baby blanket. Just waiting on the right baby to come into my life.
