There is no Gauge or yarn suggested. Use any yarn of your choice, based on the Ring used in construction, and/or use for the final project you have in mind.

This tutorial/pattern will make a ringed highlight for tea-lights/candles, or just plain tiny artifacts on that plain table top. This can also be used as a photo frame, and a highlight for multiple home projects.
