Square Ripple
I love making ripple blankets!
Such a soothing thing, a nice wavy line.
But I was getting tired of back n forth ripples and roundy ripples which grow like wedges.
So I nutted out how to do one in a square.
This is a great one for variegated yarns too!
I used 2 balls of Lionbrand Mandala to make this one, and it’s just over a metre square at 1m 50cm
The Stylecraft Special DK one was to use up the left over Lucy Harbour Blanket yarn pack. So odds and ends that weight 370g all up.
and it’s just over 1m square as well (1m 30cm)
Looks like a metre is my attention span size!
You can carry on and on and make it as big as you like though.
1m square is a nice lapghan size or for a child or pet to snuggle up in.
