The sample hat (green) was knit in Lion Brand Wool Ease, (green sparkle) --a discontinued tweed.

The second sample (white)was knit in Paton’s Encore--
This is an unoriginal design.. a basic ribbed watch cap.

The + (squared away) decrease design elevated this hat from simple to handsome.

If you are a loose knitter, or just want a smaller hat, it is easy to adjust pattern smaller and larger. (some instructions are provided)
