This is a pattern for a Squares and Flowers Blanket, originally published in knitting magazine. It is knitted in a chunky yarn in simple knit and purl squares with a garter stitch border, fine for beginners. Crochet flowers and hearts are added to the blanket. These could be replaced by knitted motifs if preferred. You will need: 5 x 100 gm balls main, 1 x 100 ball each DK for the motifs. (a small amount is needed). Finished size 88 cm wide x 95 cm deep.
