To make your bookmark, you will need:

A 4mm crochet hook

Yarn in pink, yellow and in your choice of colours for the top, tail and hair. I use Patons DK Smoothie 100% acrylic. It is easy to make the body of this bookmark longer so this pattern can be adjusted to suit most yarns.

A very small amount of black and red embroidery thread for embroidering the eyelash and mouth details.

A small amount of toy stuffing for the head and tail fin sections.

A pair of 6mm safety eyes (the eyes can be embroidered if preferred).

Other tools you will need are a needle & some scissors.
