Squiggles Hat
A reversible hat that can be worn cable-side out, shown in Wool of the Andes Aurora Heather (green), or “squiggles” side out side, shown in Cascade 220 Fuchsia (pink).

Size
One size to fit an average woman’s head (circumference: 19”/48cm; stretches to 22”/55cm; height: 8”/20cm).
Yarn
Knit Picks Wool of the Andes™ worsted 100% Peruvian Highland wool; 110yd/101m per 50g skein, Aurora Heather, 2 skeins (my hat took about 60g)
Needles
1 16” US 6/4mm circular needle for ribbed band
1 16” US 7/4.5mm circular needle for body
1 set US 7/4.5mm DPNs for center of crown
Notions
Cable needle (or use one of the DPNs); stitch markers, one in a different color to mark bor; yarn needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge
24 sts and 30 rnds = 4”/10cm in cable pattern, unstretched, on larger needles.
