This pattern can be worked in as few or as many colors as you would like. The stitches used for this hat don’t allow it to stretch too much, so matching gauge is critical. It’s fun, quick, and easy to work up.

MATERIALS:
• 40 yards of color (A), 20 yards in color (B), 20 yards in color (C) all in w.w. yarn.
• Size 5.00mm (H) hook, or hook needed to obtain gauge
• Yarn needle

It is helpful to know how to join a new color with a hdc for this pattern, though it is not a requirement. If you don’t know how, you can substitute this for a sl st, ch 1, and a hdc into the same st as join.
