This is an ideal cardigan to wear with dresses, it has enough detail to keep you interested while knitting and to make this a light weight and versatile piece that will go from the office to the weekend with ease.
It is a neat little cropped cardigan ending at high hip with ¾ set in sleeves and a collar. The wide bands of decorative ribbing do most of the shaping work. The same ribbing is used on the sleeves and the collar and the eyelets in the ribbing form the button holes. It also features Edelweiss stitch across the yolk for added interest. Edelweiss stitch is a pretty, textured stitch that looks like small flowers and is very easy to do.
The pattern is worked flat with the bodice made as one piece until it is divided for the sleeves. The sleaves are worked flat and seamed. The collar is picked up and knitted down.

Close fitting; designed with 5cm of ease through the bust.

Someone has kindly let me know that that printed version has an incorrect instruction for the number of stitches Co for the sleeve.
It should read:
Sleeve
Make 2
Using the Long Tail method and the smaller needles, cast on 64 (64, 64, 64, 64, 70, 70, 70). This counts as row 1.
Work 15 repeats of the Lace ribbing and row 2 once.
Change to larger needles and begin working in Stocking Stitch.
