This stunning blanket is made up of 3 sections. The main section consists of various sized squares pieced together before adding the two side sections of Linen Stitch and finished beautifully with a contrast Crab Stitch border.

The ‘Squircles’ are hooked in such a way so that they look like they are floating on top of the square.

Size:

Instructions are given for 90 x 105 cm (36 x 42 in) which makes a small cot size or lap blanket.

However, it can easily be made larger by adding another section of squircles and/or adding more rows to the side panels.

Materials:

o 4.5mm (7) and 5mm (H/8) hooks
o Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
o Any DK/8ply yarn

• 1200 metres Main colour
• 400 metres Contrast 1 - border trim and Squircles
• Less than 100 metres Contrast 2, 3 and 4

Would look equally fabulous in other colour-ways and some alternatives are included in the pattern.
