A wonderful stash buster! Squirt the Turtle is knitted flat and then seamed. Step by step instruction are given for each piece and there’s a section at the end ,with photos, to show you how to put them all together.

You may use the colours suggested or any others you desire.

Materials Required- 2.75mm knitting needles, darning needle, toy stuffing (~40gms) and coloured yarn.

Gauge: Not important, but do ensure to knit tight enough so that the stuffing does not show through on the body and the eyes.

Approximate size is 20cm x 12cm

10gm James C Brett Top Value DK 8453 Pink
5gm Stylecraft Special DK 1263 Citron

Knitting skills required:
Knit, Purl, K2tog, P2tog, P3tog, Kfb, (K1,P1,K1) into the cast on stitch

Sewing skills required:
Mattress stitch, running stitch, over stitch, chain stitch

I would say that this project is suitable for an intermediate/experienced knitter
