This lush, warm, textural cowl can be made over a weekend. It is worked in the round using a 12ply/Chunky yarn. Gauge is not important if you want to experiment with different yarns. You could hold 2 strands of an 8ply/DK and a 4ply mohair or even try a 14ply/Bulky yarn for an even bigger cowl.

I would consider this cowl at an advanced beginner level. The pattern is available in either US or UK terminology.
