This is a granny square pattern of Saint Brigid’s Cross, or a pinwheel if you’d rather that. Saint Brigit of Kildare, or Brigid of Ireland, is one of Ireland’s patron saints, along with Patrick and Columba.

This pattern comes to 8” in size, or 12” if you do the optional border. I created this pattern (excepting the border) to use in a celtic-themed bedspread. The border is from Waldo’s Puzzle by Chris Simon.
