About the pattern

Fish scales and twisted rib made me think of fishermen. But then there’s this very feminine ruffled edge. Every fisherman needs someone to come home to, I guess.

St. Ives is an asymmetrical triangular shawl, which is worked from the right tip to the left edge.

Some stitches in the pattern are from Japanese origin and might come across as a bit unusual, but they are all clearly explained in the pattern.

Yarn
We used Milo form Manos del Uruguay (187 gram, 649 m, 710 y). Milo is sportw weight yarn, which mixes merino and linen. The softness of the merino and the sturdy look of linen makes it an excellent yarn for this shawl.

Size
St. Ives measures 204 cm (wingspan) x 81 cm (deepest point)

I want to thank my testers for all their dedication, corrections, suggestions and comments. You were incredible important!
