St Patricks Day Leprechaun
Introducing Lucky the Chunky Leprechaun crochet pattern - a cute low-sew St Patrick’s Day amigurumi.
The finished toy makes a perfect gift for children or a special celebration. I have provided detailed instructions and photos, making the pattern easy to follow for intermediate crocheters or adventurous advanced beginners. You can use most yarn types—lightweight cotton creates a smaller decoration, while chunky plush yarn results in a larger, cuddly leprechaun.
Written in English using US crochet terms, with step-by-step instructions and lots of photos included. Download includes a printer friendly version, as well as a colourful interactive PDF pattern.
PATTERN DETAILS
• No-sew body base starts at the bottom of the feet and works up to the top of the head as a single piece, crocheting in the arms
• Sewing required to attach hair and hat
• Curly hair is created using loop stitch - alternative method also included in pattern
• Approx. 25cm tall with DK yarn and 2.5mm hook
• Mix and match with my other Chunky and Pig patterns. For example, make yourself an elephant leprechaun by using Pebbles the Chunky Elephant to modify this pattern
