About the pattern: Inspired by classic winter woolens, this scarf has a geometric motif at each end. Traditional colorwork would contain floats on the wrong side, but with stacked stitches, the wrong side is free of loops. Most of the project is plain garter stitch - easy and fast to work. A slip stitch selvage is used along each edge to keep the scarf neat. The stack section can be worked as a swatch as part of the Stacked Stitches class and teaches how to work increases and decreases in the center of a row and along both edges.

Finished Size: 9.5” (24 cm) wide and approx 74” (188 cm) long including fringe.

Yarn: Cloudborn Fibers Highland Worsted, 221 yards (202 meters) per 100 grams (3.53 ounces); 100% wool.
MC – 3 skeins Magenta
CC – 1 skein Ocean

Needles: Size 7 (4.5mm) 20?circular needles.

Gauge: 18 sts x 32 rows = 4 x 4” (10 x 10 cm) square in garter stitch.
