Stacked Wedges
by Lynne Barr
From Knitting New Scarves:
Alternating wedges in changing colors give this scarf an undulating patchwork look. It’s a great unisex design that is made more masculine or feminine by color choice. It is shown in one- and four-color variations but you can make it in up to thirteen colors, one for each wedge for a kaleidoscopic effect (and to effectively diminish an overflowing yarn stash).
Additional Yarn Information:
The single color scarf calls for two hanks of yarn. The four color version calls for one hank of each color, which is enough to make two scarves -- but the color arrangement will have to be different, as you’ll use more of two of the colors than the others.
