Cuddly Chickens or a doorstop, the decision is yours. You can join them or make them separately, make one or make millions. You can keep them, sell them (but not the pattern obviously).

The finished doorstop, when worked in plush chenille yarn, will measure approximately 26cm high and 20cm beak to tail at its widest point.

I used Aldi Chunky Baby yarn to complete the chickens, but any chunky or chenille yarn would work. You can also use lighter weight yarn but they may not make big enough chickens for a doorstop. You could use several strands of lighter yarn, but I have no way of telling what the results would be like.

This pattern is very easy to follow and aimed at beginners with no knowledge of crochet. It has the pattern written out in unabbreviated sections followed by the abbreviated equivalent so you will learn as you go. There is also a step by step guide to crochet included in the price. It is written in US terms but easily converted to UK terms.
