This little rocket is made up of 5 stacking rings. Each tier is different, with windows, rivets, fins and flames to add tactile interactions.

Materials Required

• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Tapestry needle
• DK yarn in red, blue, pale blue, grey, white, black, orange and yellow. You’ll need approximately 50g of red, 40g of blue and small amounts of each of the other colours. You could easily substitute alternative colours for the detailing, making this a good stashbuster!

Sizing

The whole toy is crocheted with the same size hook. I used a 3.5mm hook and DK yarn, and the finished rocket was 20cm (8”) tall. Gauge is not particularly important for this pattern, as long as you’re consistent – but ensure your stitches are tight enough that the stuffing won’t fall out!
