 Yarn - #2 (sport/fine) or Yarn weight #4*
 Hook 2.5mm

For the current pattern I worked the pieces with 2 threads of weight #2 yarn to make the pieces stiffer. You can work in 1 strand of weight #4 yarn with the same 2.5mm hook.
The tower without the star is 21 cm tall (8.26 inch).
