DK Weight socks are a great way to learn sock knitting and make quick, thick, warm socks. This pattern is suitable for advanced beginners or intermediate knitters. It is charted in two different sizes. You can do any heel style you prefer, but directions are provided for a GSR heel.

MATERIALS
• For Full-length socks you might prefer two skeins. For Shorties, one skein is needed. Be sure to buy enough yarn for your desired sock length!
• 115 g / 4 oz (230 m / 250 yd) of Expression Fiber Arts Dewy DK, or Knitpicks Felici Worsted (100 g, 218 yds) in a color of your choosing, or other similar dk/light worsted/heavy sport weight yarn of your choice. {One shortie sock weighs 39g.}
• 3mm dpns or long cable needle (or 3.25mm if you need to increase to achieve gauge)
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
