Stained Glass Afghan in Bavarian Crochet
by C.B. Pelton
Designed to be reminiscent of stained glass windows. The bright cheery colors light up the room while keeping you warm on the coldest days. The Bavarian Crochet technique (sometimes known as a Catherine Wheel Granny Square) looks more difficult than it is. Because the blanket is done primarily in triple crochet it works up fast!
You only need 3 skeins of each color and a Size J crochet hook. Each square is 20 inches giving you large swatches of color while giving the illusion of lots of little stripes.
