This afghan is a combination of two of my favorite knitting techniques: lace and intarsia. Each block is worked back and forth using intarsia to work multi-colored lace inserts and features either warm or cool colors. The pieces are seamed to finish the blocks which are then sewn together. An i-cord edging is added for a nice finishing. This afghan allows the knitter to be creative with color choices. You can use 8 accent colors as shown, 4 colors, or as many as you want to.
