Stained Glass Dishcloth
by Dorothy
This pattern is
available for free.
This is made with a cotton that is no longer in circulation (any plain DK weight cotton will substitute nicely) and a mercerized cotton. It is thin and soft enough for use as a nice spa cloth or child’s washcloth as well as a dishcloth.
I used the mercerized cotton to give the panes a bit of a sheen so they would appear more glass like against the plain matte of the black.
This is also a great 8x8 square for blankets.
