This sweater is a regular cardigan shape, but the NORO yarn is what makes this brick-slip-stitch really gorgeous! Using 2 different balls of the same color keeps the unity of color but adds dimension and depth to the look of the fabric. I get comments on how beautiful this sweater turned out and it should be called something that has to do with stained glass… As I agree it should. The Dream part is that it was easy to knit because each row is worked using only one ball and slipping stitches.
The matching hat pattern isn’t really matching because I varied the pattern stitch repeats and garter rows.

The Kureyon is Aran weight, so the fabric is firm, but if you use the Silk Garden, the fabric will be softer and drape more. Take time to check your gauge and adjust your stitch count or needle size accordingly. It is acceptable to go up to a US 9 with the Kureyon to achieve a larger size or softer fabric. Wet Blocking was necessary to adjust the fit correctly after knitting. The yarn is used up fully, so after your gauge swatch is knit, you may need to rip it to finish the last bits.
