Create a fun, warm, and stylish headband ear warmer with this free crochet pattern! This is a great pattern for beginners and experienced crocheters alike.

I used a combination of Red Heart Super Saver and Darn Good Yarn (DGY) Fancy Twist Silk Yarn for this pattern. I probably used close to half of the skein of DGY yarn for this pattern (approx. 25 yds), so one skein is more than enough for this pattern. DGY’s Worsted Silk Roving yarn can be substituted for the Fancy Twist as well, or any other size 4 yarn of your choice. :slightly_smiling_face:

NOTES

• DIFFICULTY: Easy
• FINISHED SIZE: Folded flat: 9.25″ w x 4″ h; 18.5″ circumference (fits Women’s size 22″ head circumference)
• GAUGE: 10 sc x 4 rnds = 4″ (increase/decrease hook size if too tight/too loose)
• STITCH GUIDE: ch(s) – chain(s), sc – single crochet, long dc – long double crochet, st(s) – stitch(es), foundation single crochet (fsc), space – sp.
• This pattern is worked in the round, turning the work after each round.
• Use the tail from the fsc to close the gap at the bottom after joining the first round.
• The stitch pattern multiple is 4, but try a smaller/larger hook size first before adjusting the number of stitches.
