Stained Glass Lantern
Stained glass crochet is a great stash buster. Choose enough amount of solid colour, add leftovers and a new unique blanket or a pillow will grow in no time. This project is perfect for variegated yarn, too.
Make several squares and join them into a pillow cover, or a blanket. Or even make a bag!
Please, read more about this design HERE on my blog.
This easy to follow pattern (8 pages) is written for one size (a version for print with no pictures is also included). It contains full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places.
Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches)
Materials:
- Yarn in 2 (or more) colors. For example use main color and leftovers in different shades.
- Crochet hook 4mm (G) or the size that will give an acceptable gauge.
- Scissors and Tapestry needle to weave the ends in.
Size: The size of the finished square depends on the yarn and hook you use. My square is approx. 23cm (9”) large.
I will be happy to see pictures of your finished pillows and rugs in my Ravelry group HERE.
