Stained Glass Windows Shawl
by Jan Curchin
A charted pattern for a fairly simple lace shawl. Specifically designed to show off a very colourful variegated yarn it could also be knitted in a solid or semi-solid colourway. The shawl was also designed to use a full 400m skein of yarn and I know that I had very little (just a couple of metres) left when the shawl was completed.
The shawl is triangular in shape and features a crocheted lower edge cast off (bind off) but a knitted cast off could be used and would require less yarn.
