(Page 61) Based on museum sweater. The sweater is from the village of Staites and is worked in the round until the armholes.
The stitch pattern is given in chart form.
Measurements and instructions for the sweater are derived from the Fisherman’s Jersey pattern on page 99 of the same book.
Instructions for that pattern call for 24 ounces of 3 ply wool (probably fingering) used double.
